For BET’s The Game, I drew from my second-hand HBCU experience — shaped by close friends who attended Historic Black Colleges and Universities here in Atlanta — to design everything from college hallways and dorm room artwork to campus banners. My work lived between the lines, helping build a world that felt authentic, lived-in, and true to the culture.
Going to an HBCU can be the best time of your life. But at GAMU, however, the lives of the people who run it and the students who attend can be a bit dramatic.
